**Shutout Loss**: However, their momentum was short-lived as they were blanked by the RockHounds in a 3-0 shutout loss. This marked the 12th time this season the Drillers have been shut out, with their offense struggling to score runs in August.
**Sixth Straight Win**: Earlier in the week, the Drillers had a strong offensive performance, winning their sixth consecutive game with a 12-5 victory over the Corpus Christi Hooks. Griffin Lockwood-Powell hit two home runs, and the Drillers bullpen had a scoreless night.
