Walk-Off Grand Slam

On July 24, the Hot Rods faced the Hickory Crawdads at Bowling Green Ballpark. In a thrilling extra-inning game, Brock Jones hit a walk-off grand slam to secure a 7-4 victory for the Hot Rods. This win marked a significant moment in the team's recent performance.

Loss to Winston-Salem Dash

On July 25, the Hot Rods took on the Winston-Salem Dash at Bowling Green Ballpark. Despite a strong performance from Gregory Barrios, who recorded his first multi-hit game in the Rays organization, the Hot Rods fell 3-2. The game saw a back-and-forth battle, with the Dash ultimately taking the win in the ninth inning.

Series Against Greenville Drive

Earlier in the week, the Hot Rods faced the Greenville Drive in a series that saw both teams trading victories. On July 22, Yoniel Curet tied his career high with 11 strikeouts, but the Hot Rods ultimately lost the series finale in extra innings by a score of 6-5. The previous day, Chandler Murphy pitched 5.0 hitless innings to help the Hot Rods split a doubleheader with the Drive.

On July 21, Xavier Isaac hit his team-leading 15th home run to help the Hot Rods defeat the Winston-Salem Dash 7-5. Additionally, Brayden Taylor and Cooper Kinney smashed back-to-back home runs in a six-run bottom of the eighth to secure an 8-4 win over the Hickory Crawdads on July 20.
