WINGIN' IT: Red Wings Recap - July 19-25

Syracuse Series (July 23-25)

The Red Wings faced off against the Syracuse Mets in a three-game set, ultimately losing all three contests. In the first game, Rochester fell 13-2, with the Mets' offense exploding in the first and fifth innings to score all 13 runs. The second game saw the Red Wings drop another game, 8-5, with Syracuse scoring eight runs in the first four innings. The final game of the series was a close contest, but the Red Wings ultimately lost 4-3 in a back-and-forth duel.

Lehigh Valley Series (July 24-26)

The Red Wings then moved on to a series against the Lehigh Valley IronPigs. In the first game, Lehigh Valley scored eight runs across the third and fourth innings to take the game 10-2. RHP Kyle Luckham made his Triple-A debut, and RHP Luis Reyes and Amos Willingham turned in strong outings without allowing an earned run. The second game saw a late rally by Lehigh Valley, who scored six runs in the eighth to win 11-4. CF Dylan Crews led the offense with two doubles and a walk, while LF Stone Garrett launched his third home run of the month.

Upcoming Game

Rochester looks to bounce back and even the series against Lehigh Valley on Friday night. RHP Thaddeus Ward is scheduled to make the start for the Red Wings, facing off against IronPigs RHP Nick Nelson. The first pitch is set for 6:45 p.m.

Standouts and Milestones

- **Dylan Crews** had a strong game against Lehigh Valley, going 2-for-4 with two doubles and a walk.

- **Stone Garrett** launched his third home run of the month and his 650th Minor League hit.

- **Travis Blankenhorn** added a pair of hits and walks and has now collected an extra-base hit in five consecutive games.

- **Carter Kieboom** launched his fifth home run of the season in the game against Lehigh Valley.
